The Goliath tank is a heavily armored vehicle, primarily used by Gath's Army. It has been seen frequently on their southern border with Gilboa. The introduction of the Goliath tank has shifted the balance of power in favor of Gath. For the last 18 months Gilboan armed forces have been unsuccessful at defeating these Goliaths, until David Sheppard's heroic actions.
Inspiration[]
In Biblical Scripture David slays the Philistine giant Goliath. In Goliath's first appearance from the Book of Samuel he is referred to as Goliath of Gath, one of the five Philistine city-states of that period.

The actual tanks used in filming were modified Soviet T-54/55 Battle Tanks.
